This summer the lighbulb for my left-rear blinker went out. So I replaced it. A few weeks later it stopped working…again. So I replaced it…again. When it decided to work some days and not others I knew the problem was one beyond my bulb-replacing abilities. On my way to work this morning I stopped at North Liberty Auto to see when they might be able to look at it (and fully prepared to leave my car there and walk to work). They looked at it right away and told me the problem wasn’t the wiring or the socket but most likely the replacement bulb. Turns out the ones made in China don’t make contact in the socket as well as the US made ones do. They cleaned the bulb socket (just in case) and replaced the bulb free of charge! So off I went, making left turns all the way to work.
